ESSAY CONTEST FOR LOCAL STUDENTS
During the month of September the Athol Historical Society will be
extending its hours for students who want to use our "Gleason
Memorial Research Room" or our museum to work on their essays.
Cash prizes for winning essays will be awarded at our SECOND ANNUAL
CHILDREN'S DAY on October 1 st.

ATHOL HISTORY TOUR
September 24 – SATURDAY 10:30 – 1:00
A GUIDED TOUR THROUGHOUT THE TOWN TO OUR MOST HISTORIC
SPOTS. THE TOUR WILL TAKE ABOUT 1½ HOURS FOLLOWED BY A
PICNIC LUNCH AT THE SOCIETY.
$ 8.00 PER PERSON, INCLUDES TOUR AND LUNCH.
